  • Does WDTA accept non-dancers or non-professional as members?

    WDTA accepts amateur members and non-dancer members.

  • Do I need to be a Hong Kong resident to join WDTA?

    You do not need to be a Hong Kong resident to join WDTA. We accept members of all nationalities.

  • Is WDTA a registered association in Hong Kong?

    WDTA is a non-profit making organization registered in Hong Kong.

  • What professional dance associations does WDTA cooperate with?

    WDTA co-operates with ISTD and IDTA.

  • What styles of dance are taught by WDTA?

    WDTA aims to embrace Latin, Standard, Chinese dance, Jazz, Popping, Hip Hop, Street dance, Argentine Tango and many more.

    Yes, WDTA organizes competitions. Please refer to our competition schedules in our website.

  • How can I join WDTA?

    You can 1. fill in an application form online, 2. print out the application form and send it by mail or 3. pick up an application form from the Head Office.

  • What payment form does WDTA accept?

    WDTA accepts cheque and cash payment. 

  • Does WDTA offer examinations for teachers or judges?

    Yes, WDTA has a well structured and comprehensive examination system which allows the professional teachers and adjudicators an opportunity to further their dance knowledge and ability.

  • What activities does WDTA organize?

    WDTA organizes training workshop, congresses, master classes, competitions, professional examinations and many more activities.

  • Can I get a refund if I cancel my membership?

    Membership fee is non-refundable.

  • Can I join WDTA in my country or city?

    WDTA is a global association with a system of one family no matter where you are from. You can apply at WDTA website and choose your preferred payment method.

  • Why should I join WDTA?

    WDTA is a dance association with the vision and mission to promote dance in all forms, the popularity and benefits of dance in Asia and worldwide. If you are a dance enthusiast or professional dancer who wishes to further your education and interest in dancing, we cater for your personal dance advancement.

  • How can I pay for the membership fee?

    You can pay for the membership fee by cheque in HK dollars payable to WDTA with the application form, or by cash payment to the Head Office.

  • How much does the membership cost?

    WDTA offers 3 levels of membership, Professional membership, Non-Professional membership and Institutional membership.  CLICK HERE for details.

  • Can I cancel my membership?

    You can cancel your membership at any time, but the membership fee is non-refundable and you will cease to enjoy the member benefits, and your name will be removed from the membership list.

  • How can I cancel my membership?

    If you wish to cancel your membership, please email to wdtahk@yahoo.com.hk, stipulating your name and membership number and the reasons for cancellation.
